Buying a GPU Dedicated Server
This guide explains how to order a GPU Dedicated Server from PerLod and what to expect before your service becomes active.
Before you start
Before placing your order, it helps to know your main requirements, such as:
- preferred location
- GPU model requirements
- number of GPUs if needed
- CPU and RAM requirements
- storage capacity and type
- operating system preference
- billing term
If you are still comparing options, start from the GPU Dedicated Server overview page first.
Step 1: Start from the GPU Dedicated Server pages
You can begin your order from either of these entry points:
- the main GPU Dedicated Server page
- a location-based GPU Dedicated Server page
The main page helps you explore the general GPU server offering. Location-based pages help you focus on servers available in a specific region or datacenter location.
Step 2: Filter and compare GPU server options
Before choosing a server, review the available plans and use the visible filters if needed.
Depending on the page, you may compare servers based on details such as:
- GPU model
- number of GPUs if applicable
- processor model
- RAM
- storage type
- storage size
- location
- network details
- billing term
Use this step to narrow the available options and choose the server that best matches your workload.
Step 3: Select a server
Once you find a suitable server, continue with that plan to move into the order flow.
A GPU Dedicated Server is usually selected for workloads that depend on GPU acceleration and need dedicated hardware resources.
Step 4: Configure the server
After selecting a server, you will be taken to the configuration step.
Depending on the server and provider setup, this step may include options such as:
- server location
- operating system and version
- network options
- additional public IP addresses
- support or monitoring options
- billing term
The visible options may vary depending on the selected server.
Step 5: Review the order
Before checkout, review the full order carefully.
Make sure to confirm:
- selected server
- GPU model
- selected location
- operating system
- billing term
- any selected extras or add-ons
- final price
This is the best time to catch mistakes before payment.
Step 6: Complete payment
Once everything looks correct, continue to payment and complete the order.
After successful payment, the service moves into provisioning.
Because a GPU Dedicated Server is a physical service with dedicated GPU hardware, setup may take longer than VPS provisioning.
After purchase
Once the server is ready, it will appear in Dash for management.
From there, you can usually:
- open the service details page
- check the current status
- review hardware and access information
- use available management actions
- review billing and lifecycle details
If the server is not active yet
If the order is paid but the server is not yet active:
- allow a reasonable provisioning window
- refresh Dash and check the service status
- review whether the invoice shows as paid
If the delay continues, contact support and include:
- service ID if available
- invoice number
- selected server
- selected location
